The first rural hands-on history museum in the United States designed for elementary school aged children, this delightful museum provides daily history tours up to two hours with exhibits including the manor house, gardens, a blacksmith shop, carriage collection, log cabin, and an ice house. Rose Hill Manor is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Open daily from April to October.
Manor Hours of operation (April-October):
Monday-Saturday: 10:00am-4:00pm
Sunday: 1:00-4:00pm
Payment is cash or check only
Park Hours (April-October):
8:00am-8:00pm
Please be aware that on any given week day,
there may be large school groups on site
visiting Rose Hill Manor. When large groups
are here, we may need to alter the regular
daily tour format. If this is a problem, please
call 301-600-1650. We will be glad to check
the calendar and let you know what will be
going on when you plan to visit.
